Prayer & Care

The passion, mission and vision of Prayer and Care Ministry is to demonstrate the loving care of our Savior by ministering to those in need of comfort, care, support and prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 declares that Jesus comforts all of us in our troubles, so now we can partner with God so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Prayer & Care Opportunities

Prayer is a vital part of our faith as we talk with God and trust that He will grant us wisdom, comfort, freedom, and healing. We integrate prayer into all of our worship services and in a special focused time of prayer on Thursday evenings during our Prayer & Care nights starting at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. Contact us for additional prayer opportunities that occur throughout the week. Members of our Prayer & Care team are available to pray with you at any time, including as you prepare to go on mission and enter new stages of life. Prayer & Care Support

Life throws us challenges in every season, and we’re here to offer support through pastoral counseling, DivorceCare, GriefShare, Marriage Care, Handling Illness Support, and military support. Our Prayer & Care team members walk alongside those who find themselves housebound, those requiring hospital stays, and those preparing for Celebration of Life services. We also provide care through our Stephen Ministers and financial support for those of the Asbury family who are in need through our monthly Change for Change offering. Prayer & Care Nights

We believe in the power of prayer to change lives, offer hope, bring peace, and draw us closer to God. Our weekly Prayer & Care Nights start at 6 pm with a worship service in the Fellowship Hall before breaking out into Prayer & Care Groups (Handling Illness Support, GriefShare, Divorce Care, and pastoral counseling support), with the Storehouse hosting continual prayer and worship until 9 pm. We’d love to welcome you to this dynamic night of community, healing, and wholeness. To connect with a member of our Prayer & Care Night leadership team, click here.

7-9pm Storehouse: Continual Prayer & Worship

We believe Jesus is worthy of continual prayer and worship, and sometimes the best thing for us is to steal away from the distractions of life to draw closer to Him. We pray continually that the Lord would bring revival to our families, our church, our community, and the world. The Storehouse is our ministry of continual prayer and worship. All are invited to participate any time from 8am-8pm Sunday–Thursday and 8am-noon Friday in the upstairs Hope Building.
