THEN

As they approached the tomb, the place where death had claimed victory, something was different. Where just days before our Savior’s body had been sealed behind a stone too heavy to move, there was now a doorway—the stone had been rolled away. This open door was now an invitation to look into the place where death seemed to win and see that resurrection had come.

This is the promise of Easter for us today!

STARTING EASTER SUNDAY

Worship Series

April 20 - May 11

NOW

He still moves stones.

During this four-week series we will look at some of the stones in our own lives; these things that seem too heavy to defeat. Yet, just as the early disciples saw the stone rolled away from Christ’s tomb, we too have the invitation to look closely at these places in our own lives where death has seemed victorious. Places of fear, shame, disappointment, and bitterness seem permanent, but we are invited to look closer. Resurrection has come!
