SERVING SNAPSHOT

In Asbury Kids, we are on mission to connect volunteer leaders and parents with kids to learn in engaging and age-appropriate ways that Jesus is their best friend. The Asbury Kids team is looking for leaders who love Jesus and want to help grow God’s Kingdom in the next generation by discipling through conversation, fun activities, worship, and sometimes even play-dough and Legos.

SERVING AREAS

Small Group Leaders Volunteers connect with kids on a consistent basis in a classroom environment by leading activities and conversations. Curriculum and supplies are provided weekly by staff so that you can focus on engaging kids in learning more about Jesus and applying that faith to their lives!

Large Group Leaders Volunteers who serve in Large Group participate in a variety of roles during collective worship time with kids. Worship leaders lead kids through praise and worship songs; storytellers lead through helping kids understand Bible application in a group format; tech volunteers serve by running the AV equipment. If you play an instrument and want to use that ability to glorify God, we have opportunities there also!

Support Leaders Volunteers in this group have a variety of talents and serve in some unexpected ways. The baking team provides baked goods for our Sunday morning volunteers. Our monthly rotation of stage design team members engage in designing, construction, and building for our worship environments. The curriculum prep team needs semi-crafty volunteers who want to help with the weekly curriculum and supplies. Other opportunities are available – just ask us if you’re not sure where you’d like to serve!
