Starting August 16

If you’re ready to pursue your GED, you’re invited to apply for free GED classes at the Asbury Farmhouse, sponsored by J.F. Drake State Community & Technical College. Transitional ESL classes for those pursuing workplace level English are also offered through the GED program. Classes are held from 9:30am-12:30pm and 5:30pm-8:30pm each Monday and Wednesday. Registration and more details are available here. Students must provide proof of Alabama residency.

Acceptable forms of ID

Alabama Driver’s License
Alabama Non-Driver’s ID
Alabama Photo Voter ID Card
Student Photo ID from a public or private college, university, or high school within the state of Alabama
