SERVING AREAS

Chancel Choir Our Chancel Choir members help create artistic moments in our services that are engaging, excellent, and authentic. We incorporate a variety of music, so all vocal styles are welcome. If you’re able to stay on pitch, in rhythm, and love the Lord, this might be the team for you.

Orchestra & Handbells Members of Asbury Orchestra or Asbury Handbells help create meaningful moments that are reverent, and will add elements of worship to the services. If you play an instrument, and can play it well, one of these might be the team for you.

ProPresenter Operator & Sound Operator As a member of the Traditional Worship Tech Team, you can mix sound for the worship service, or operate the computer that displays song lyrics on the sanctuary screen during the music.

Acolytes & Crucifers Acolyte and Crucifers serve through lighting candles and bringing in the cross to help establish a worshipful atmosphere. Your giftings will help create moments during our worship services that help point people to Christ. (Acolytes/Crucifers typically range in age from 9-15 years old).

Pew Maintenance Team Members of the Pew Maintenance Team help keep the sanctuary beautiful by straightening hymnals and Bibles in pew pockets, restocking pen and forms, as well as cleaning any trash left behind from pew pockets so the pews will be ready for the next worship service. If you identify with the notion of “everything goes in a certain place and should look a certain way,” then this area of service is great for you!
