The Way: A Confirmation Journey is a course offered to help 5th-8th graders deepen their relationship with God and the big-C Church. Throughout the course, our church pastors, staff, and lay leaders will make this a fun & captivating journey as kids and students learn about their identity in Christ, the need for salvation, our Wesleyan roots, means of grace, and life-long spiritual practices. Participants will ultimately decide about pursuing their own relationship with Jesus with the opportunity to take a next step through baptism or reaffirm an infant baptism.

It is our prayer that confirmands will then walk forward equipped with practices for the way they can keep growing in their faith for the rest of their lives as active members of the Church. Timing is everything. When you think your 5th-8th grader may be ready to ask and find the answers to deep faith questions, this is a great place to start.

As a spiritual leader for your child, you’ll know best when they seem ready to claim their faith as their own and start discovering their place in the church.
