In our culture that is often quick to dishonor others, we are called to live the way of Jesus.
Rather than engaging in cultural norms, we are choosing to honor others; to pursue the
Kingdom of Heaven rather than the kingdoms of this world.
To honor means to regard with great respect and at Asbury, we are witnessing firsthand how the Lord is growing a culture of honor in our church family across generations. Cultivating this
culture, we are exploring what it means to honor others in this 4-week series rooted in Matthew
25. Together, we will let this chapter speak to us about how to honor those who have gone
before us (All Saints’ Sunday), the gifts we’ve each been entrusted to steward, the most
vulnerable among us and Jesus above all (Christ the King Sunday).
