Asbury is a growing family, awakening to God, and living on mission - this vision hinges on us sharing our faith with those around us. Not only is this how we grow our family, but sharing our faith with others is how we grow more mature in our faith too. This is our mission, the Great Commission given by Jesus, to go and share the Good News with a world that desperately needs it.
Evangelism doesn’t have to be scary or radical - it is often in the everyday, mundane, routine of our lives that we are given opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus. And it all begins with allowing God to first change our hearts through prayer & practice in community.
Over the next five weeks, our church (including our Life Groups*) will align to remember what God has done for us, reflect on His unconditional love, and reimagine what it means to share our faith. With compounding weekly challenges, we will take steps together to practice overcoming our fears to help the lost find Jesus, become disciples, and be equipped to be sent back out to the lost through 21 Days of Prayer and our Faith Conversations Workshop.
