Each Sunday, we provide tailored environments for kids, students, and adults with special needs.
SonShine Friends provides a loving, Christ-centered environment for kids with special needs so that their parents may attend a 10:45 worship service on the Madison campus. Our kids encounter God through Bible stories, craft, music, and play. Depending upon ability, some children may attend large group worship. SonShine Friends is divided into preschool and elementary classes.
Asbury Students provides an opportunity to serve students in grades 6-12 who learn best through tailored learning experiences. Through our Special Needs Sunday morning class, we help students grow in their relationship with Christ in an environment that best suits their unique learning styles. This class meets on Sundays at 10:45am on the Madison campus.
Devoted to Jesus (D2J) is a Sunday school class on the Madison campus that provides a loving and nurturing environment for adults with special needs starting at age 18. With help from devoted volunteers, we learn about the Bible in engaging ways that are meaningful to our members. D2J members read Scripture, sing, play games, and work on group projects related to the topic we are studying.
Prior to attending a Sunday morning class, please contact our Special Needs Ministry Coordinator Elissa Leonard at firstname.lastname@example.org in order for us to better serve your family. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
