It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Thanks to you, the Asbury family, once again, this time of year is extra special.
We just finished our Countdown to Christmas initiative at Asbury. And, once again, the generosity of the people at Asbury just leaves me speechless – well, almost. While the overwhelming support for these missions leaves me in awe of how God works through you, I do however, have lots of words of thanks to say!
You helped us fill the number of food boxes needed. You helped to collect a record number of shoeboxes filled with goodies for kids around the world. You made Christmas possible for the parents of 145 children who wouldn’t have any other way to provide gifts for their children. However, it didn’t stop there!
We asked you to provide supplies that help foster children both locally and globally. You provided $6,000 worth of supplies to help foster care workers as they care for children who have suffered abuse, neglect, and trauma.
We asked you to give $6 to provide evangelism materials and Bibles to children around the world through The Greatest Journey. You gave. and because of you, 650 children will hear the gospel and receive the Bible in their very own language!
This most wonderful time of year, you have made a difference. You did more than just put smiles on the face of many people, you helped to pave the way for Kingdom business. Isn’t that why we celebrate Christmas? This gift of a baby, who put a smile on the face of Mary and Joseph, paved the way for real change – His hope and healing making a difference in this world.
